Help



To Install PC-Parent, just unzip the 'pcp.zip' file to any folder on your PC's hard disk.  Then launch the 'pcp.exe file'.

 

To Configure PC-Parent, just "right click" on the PC-Parent icon from the lower right hand side of the screen, and select the "restore" menu.  It will prompt you for a password.

 

    Fields:

  • Save a screen shot every X minute(s) - Enter an Integer from 1 to 300 for this field.
  • Folder to Save Screen shots to - This had to be an existing folder on your local hard disk. 
  • Password - Enter a password that you can remember. 
  • Keep the last X screen shots - PC-Parent will delete any older screen shot images and keep the newest once available to view.

    Buttons:

  • Save - If you make changes, make sure you click on this button to save off your changes.
  • To Tray - This will drop PC-Parent back to your system tray.
  • Quit - Will Stop PC-Parent, and exit the program.
 

 


Look in your system tray.  (the lower right side of the screen where your clock appears) and look for the PC-Parent Icon.  (look for the icon in the red circle from the image below)
